Wanderlust is defined as “a strong desire to travel” – this is all I am thinking about right now. It is slowly dawning on me that the college chapter of my life will be over soon and I will be free to do whatever I want.
This whole desire of mine to travel is not just in the literal sense of traveling the world but it is also in the sense that I want my life to go places. I have no idea where to start or where I will end up but I am looking forward to the adventure. For some reason, the whole forest motif of this photo set reminds me of the movie Narnia. In some pictures I actually look like I am exploring and discovering new things and what not. Well, that is the end of today’s food for thought.
Now unto my outfit for the day. I wore this backless mesh dress to school (yes, there is a forest in my campus) but, of course, revealing clothes are not allowed in certain building so I had to cover it somehow.
I ended up grabbing this layered vest I bought at a random market place in Hong Kong. I love the color, finishing details, and the adorable pockets. The layered details add drama to the ensemble.
I opted for accessories that contrast the softness of the dress and vest so this metal necklace from Topshop was a perfect fit.
To add even more hardness to the ensemble, I wore my favorite pair of studded gladiator sandals. I especially like the variety of studs and the criss-cross effect of the straps.
That’s it for this post. Remember, treat every single day as a new adventure! (you’ll never be bored)
