Discovered a casual fusion restaurant amidst all the night spots on Durban Street in Makati City. Bistro Mondo is the brainchild of Chef Steven Scudder and Edna Sandejas that serves a mix of American, Italian, and French dishes. It’s refreshing to come across a site that features trapezoidal exteriors and modern interiors. The dishes are thoughtfully plated, cooked to perfection, and simply delicious. Every single dish I tried was homey but, at the same time, worldly.
Even the prices are reasonable–especially considering the big serving sizes of the dishes. The customer service is also on point. The Chef even accommodates special food requests from diners that are not on the menu. Everything on the menu is great but I especially recommend the Baked New Zealand Muscles, Baked Cheesy Chicken Dip, Pugon Chicken,Pork Tenderloin Ala Bistro Mondo, and the Ice Cream Stuffed Cream Puffs.
