Experiencing nature the Chanel way. I unknowingly channeled Chanel in today’s outfit. If Coco Chanel were to visit the sunken garden of UP Diliman, this is what she would wear – possibly with heels. Okay, maybe not but, in my dreams, this is how I imagine things to be.
A single piece of clothing can make all the difference; it can either make or break an outfit. The defining piece of this outfit is the tweed blazer from Soiree. Interestingly enough, it resembles a classic Chanel blazer. I am not really a fan of formal looking pieces but this one is too chic to pass up! The blazer transformed the simple white top and black shorts combination into a more luxe ensemble.
(I just realized the hipster-ness of this photograph)
To give this elegant look an edge, I accessorized with a chunky neck piece of metal, rocks, and chains.
P.S. This is how to look fab in a forest!
Another elegant touch to this outfit is my – Prada inspired – sunglasses from Amazon. It’s my only pair of white shades and it’s, of course, my favorite. I know it seems big but I love that it manages to cover half of my face.
Don’t you just love the swirly design on the side?
As for my shoes, I went with a simple silver – Grecian inspired – pair of sandals from HDY.
That’s it for this post. What do you think of my Chanel-like ensemble?
