To be completely honest, I am not the type to drop thousands and thousands of my hard earned money on expensive items. Even though fashion is my one true love, there is no way I would ever spend 2.5 Million Pesos on one of the Louis Vuitton Capucines. No matter how gorgeously beautiful this hand-crafted purse is, I can never bring myself to spend as much as the downpayment of a house on just one bag. This is just something normal people don’t do. I do spend on affordable fashion pieces though. This entire outfit, for example, that I wore to the Rexona MotionSense launch just cost me a total of Php 894.04!
Yes, you read it right. The jumpsuit, heels, ring, and earrings all cost me a total of Php 894.04. By now, you’re probably wondering how I was able to pull this off. Well, it’s quite simple really–I’m a legit bargain hunter! I can’t even remember the last time I paid full price for something.
The dress code for the event was, of course, Rexona’s favorite color–blue. This jumpsuit was the first thing that popped into my head. I love the shape of the bodice, the soft masculine feel of the trousers, and, of course, the pockets. This is actually a PaperDolls branded jumpsuit that I got from last year’s Clothes Buffet Manila. Clothing Buffet Manila is an annual event that gives customers 20 minutes to fill up one bag with whatever clothes they want. It costs Php 2,799.00 to join and I was able to fit 9 lovely pieces in my bag. This amounts to Php 311.00 per item. This jumpsuit is absolutely a steal!
I wanted to style the jumpsuit with simple heels so I went for my favorite pair of barely-there sandals. I got this pair of Delicious branded heels from Amazon for just $8.96–that’s 429.46 in Pesos. You can order this exact pair or a pair similar to it on Amazon.
I am obsessed with this white rose ring! From the moment I saw it, I just knew I had to have it. I even got it in 5 different colors. I got this lovely ring for just Php 100.00 from the Aveadena online shop.
I got this pair of diamond shaped gold earrings from Forever 21. It was on sale for just $2.90–that’s 53.58 in Pesos. It is the perfect accent to my protruding collar bones and sleeked back hair. If you like this pair of earrings, you can buy a similar pair from Forever 21.

So just a quick recap. The jumpsuit costs Php 311.00. The heels cost Php 429.46. The ring costs Php 100.00. The earrings cost Php 53.58. Add that all up and you get a total of Php 894.04 for this entire outfit. Would you have guessed that everything in this post costs less than a thousand Pesos? It actually looks like I spent so much more on this outfit, but I didn’t. This just goes to show that you don’t need to spend a fortune to look great, you just have to know where to buy things at the right price. I hope I have inspired at least one person to try out bargain shopping.
